Automations overview

What a strategy is, how one is built, and the primitives you can mix.

An automation is a set of rules attached to your specific positions. The bot executes those rules through your HedgeHog account. You build one in /strategies → Create automation.

The wizard

Name → Entities → Routing → Protections → [Authorize] → Review

  1. Name the strategy so you can find it later.
  2. Entities — pick the exact positions it manages: your LP positions, Aave loans, or Aave supplied collateral.
  3. Routing — how the strategy's proceeds are split (Harvest 60% · Compound 40%).
  4. Protections — per-position rebalance / take-profit / stop-loss; per-loan repay threshold and emergency exit.
  5. Authorize — one-time approval of the bot (only if not already approved).
  6. Review and create.

Managing

Each strategy card shows its trigger, last run, next run, and attributable P&L. You can Pause / Resume, Edit, Share the template, or Exit & Uninstall — which closes every linked position and sweeps the funds to your wallet.

Overlap

If two strategies would manage the same position, the wizard warns Already automated by another strategy before you create the second one.
